Apple, yesterday launched the Apple iPhone X which is pronounced as the iPhone 10. It is the special variant announced by the company with regards to its 10th anniversary. Now, I am going to list out some of the iPhone X Pros and Cons and mention why I like it and dislike it. It is worth to mention that Apple has also launched the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus along with iPhone 10.
iPhone 10 / iPhone X Pros
Design
The first thing that got my eye is the design of the iPhone X. When the Company announced the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus which looked exactly as same as the iPhone7/7Plus, I just wished the rumors have to be true for iPhone X design.
The iPhone X sports 5.8‑inch display with all new Super Retina screen. The end to end display with near to no bezel design made the iPhone X more appealing to eyes. The refreshed and new Smartphone design is surely one of the advantages of the iPhone 10.
Face ID
The next thing that I loved on the new iPhone X is the new FaceID. There is no home button and you can use these iPhone X tricks to navigate. It really takes lots of courage for the company to kill the Touch ID which becomes very common in the smartphone these days and replace it with FaceID. Face ID uses the TrueDepth camera to make the unlocking experience even more accurate and ensure the best security as well.
Improved processor and Camera
The iPhone X packs the improved A11 Bionic chip with the 64-bit architecture to ensure seamless and powerful performance. The iPhone 10 sports the 12MP wide-angle ( ƒ/1.8 aperture) and telephoto( ƒ/2.4 aperture) dual cameras. The camera has Dual optical image stabilization and has portrait mode on both front and the rear camera.
Water and Dust Resistant
The added advantage of the iPhone X is that it is IP67 rated Water and Dust resistant Smartphone.
iPhone 10 / iPhone X Cons
Now, below are the some of the cons of the iPhone X which I don’t like about this Smartphone.
Limited storage
Even after paying 999$ you just get only 64GB of storage which is a real disappointment. There is no 128GB variant of iPhone X but has 256GB variant which costs 1,149$.
Camera Design
Though, I liked the design of the Smartphone I wished the company could have improved the design of the camera module. At first glance, the rear part of the Smartphone looks really weird.
No Type-C port
With the Apple iPhone X and iPhone 8, I really wished that the company should include the Type-C port instead of the regular lightning port. Considering that Apple ditched every port on MacBook Pro and replacing them with Type-C port, I really wished the same could have happened with the iPhone X but it doesn’t.
