Advantages
Battery life
The very first thing I liked about the device is the battery backup of the laptop. The Battery lasts up to 12 hours on browsing the web pages and doing some basic editing works. If you are watching movies and videos then it could last up to 7-9 hours without any issue. So this Laptop would be a great choice if you travel a lot as you won’t get time to charge your device often.
Design and weight
The next good thing about the Asus EeeBook Notebook is its design and the weight. The laptop looks premium and it weighs only 990 grams which less than a KG. While holding this Laptop, you will feel like having the prototype of the device. You can carry it every day where ever you go without much difficulties. Keeping the weight and the battery life of the device, this Laptop could be the best option for the college students.
Smart Gesture Trackpad
For this price, I couldn’t get anything more. The Asus EeeBook X205TA comes with the Asus Smart Gesture which makes the browsing and navigation convenient and faster. The Smart Gesture Trackpad is not even seen in some of the budget Laptop around 25k but the Asus netbook has it. This feature includes, you can use two fingers to navigate the screen up, down or left, right. You can also zoom, right click, navigate pages, view runnings Apps without using the button on the keypad.
Latest Windows OS
Another advantage of getting Asus EeeBook X205TA is that you will have the latest Windows OS loaded in it. The Asus Notebook comes with the Windows 8.1 Operating System out of the box. The windows loaded inside is genuine and original and it also has the Windows 10 update to download. The Laptop comes with the sticker stating ” Plays well with Windows 10″.
Disadvantages
Limited Storage
As we have spoke with the pros of the machine, it also has some of the negative points. The main con of the device is the hardware size of the Asus EeeBook. The Laptop comes with the 32GB of internal Storage( hard drive) out of which only 11GB is user available. The remaining space are occupied by the Operating system. You cannot change the size of the inbuilt hard disk but still you can expand the size up to 128GB using the Micro SD card.
Weak Speakers
The Asus Eeebook Laptop has the stereo speaker placed at the bottom of the device. The quality of the output sound is clear but still its very low. The surrounding should be silent in order to hear the audio from the speaker clearly. But still you can use the Earphone while watching the videos and movies.
Finger Print impression
The blue version which I have bought takes lots of finger print impression on the body. I have tried of wiping and cleaning it every now and then but still i got it fixed by sticking a Skin and screen guard.
