Design and Feel

The Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe is nothing different from the Asus Zenfone 2 except the back panel. I would say that the back panel gave the phone a whole premium look. The pattern on the back gave me some grip and comfort while holding the bigger Zenfone 2 Deluxe. On the front, there is three touch capacitive button on the bottom which are not backlight enabled. There are nothing on the left or right of the phone. The power button is placed on the top which is tough to reach at some time. But thanks to “Double tap to wake up or lock” feature so that you don’t need to reach out the power button every time. The camera in placed on the rear side with dual LED Flash and just below the camera module the volume keys are placed. This placement makes the Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe unique in terms of design. A single speaker grill is placed on the rear side and there is a port for USB at the bottom of the phone.

Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe ZE551ML display

The Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe has 5.5 inches HD 1080p display. The display looks brights, colors are natural and the viewing angles are great I would say. The display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the top. The phone has got  some of viewing modes which you can use according to the situation. If you find hard to use the phone in Single hand at some time then there is an option called, “One Hand Mode”. The display works absolutely fine even on sunlight and there is no problem while using it on roads.

Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe ZE551ML performance

The Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe ZE551ML is well known for its performance. On the specification side, it has 2.3 GHz Intel Atom Z3580 Quad Core Processor and 4GB RAM to power this smartphone. The phone makes the full use of the RAM and you don’t even feel any lag even you keep all your Apps kept open in the background. The gaming on this device is pure pleasure and there are no lags or frame drops even while playing HD Games, I tried playing some of the HD Games Like NFS Most Wanted, Asphalt 8 at high graphics setting and the phone handled it very well.

There is a 13MP rear camera on the Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe with Dual tone LED Flash. Also, it has 5MP front camera with wide Angle Lens. The camera on the ZF2 Deluxe works great as per the expectation. An output image looks natural and the colors are managed well. You can also buy a ZenFlash for your Zenfone which helps you to click great phones at low light.

UI & Battery

Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe UI

The Asus Zenfone 2 runs on the latest version of Android Lollipop 5.0 with ZenUI on the top. But the negative side is, the phone is loaded with lots of bloatware which is annoying. The UI lets you to locks the Apps you want without any third party Apps. The Asus Zenfone 2 comes with 3000 mAh battery which is not a user removable one. It has a quick charge feature and it lets you charge your phone really fast. Though it has 3000 mAh battery, it cannot last for one full day due to bad software customization. We have also written a piece of article on how to improve Asus Zenfone 2 battery life. Do share this review if you liked them and follow us on FacebookTwitter, and Pinterest. for further reviews
