A week back, Samsung launched the first foldable Smartphone at MWC 2019. Later Huawei bagged the title of World’s first 5G Foldable Smartphone title with Huawei Mate X. Here are the full details, Specifications and the launch, availability information of the new Huawei Mate X.

The Huawei Mate X comes with a 6.6 inch and 6.38-inch display when folded and sums up to 8-inch OLED FullView Display when unfolded. The main 6.6-inch display has the 2480 x 1148 pixel resolution and the 6.4-inch rear display has the 2480 x 892-pixel resolution. When unfolded, the 8-inch display has the 2480 x 2200 pixels resolution with 8:7.1 aspect ratio.

The Huawei Mate X is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, 8GB RAM, and 512GB internal storage. The Mate X supports 5G and becomes the first Foldable Smartphone with 5G support. The phone runs on the Android 9 Pie with EMIUI 9.1.1 out of the box. The Huawei Mate X comes with 3 camera setup, 40MP wide-angle lens, 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens. It has a 4,500mAh battery which is built into two separate segments of the phone.
Some of the connectivity options are 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C. The Huawei Mate X is priced at EUR 2,299 for 8GB/ 512 storage variant which is roughly around 1,85,099 Indian rupees. The phone will be available to the consumers from mid-2019 and there is no official information on the India launch date yet.
