Look & Feel

The phone is quite similar to the design of Lenovo A7000.The body is made up of plastic and it doesn’t feel cheap as it is made up of good quality plastic. The dimension of Lenovo K3 note is 76.2×152.6×8 mm and it weighs around 150 g.Coming to the physical overview of the phone, there are three touch capacitive navigation button on the front and sadly they are not backlit enabled. To the right there are volume rockers and the power key at the centre. To the left of the phone, there is nothing and the inbuilt microphone is placed at the bottom and 3.5mm headphone jack and Micro USB port is placed at the top.On the rear side, there is a 13mp camera with LED Flash and also there is a small opening for the speaker.Just below the camera you can find the logo of LENOVO.

Display:

The Lenovo K3 Note has the 5.5 inches Full HD 1080p display which the company market great about this device. But sadly the 1080p display sets the major drawback indirectly and I will explain it how later in this post.The 1920×1080 resolution display is the real beauty of the phone and I personally enjoyed watching HD videos on the phone. The screen of K3 Note is not protected by the corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the top by it has toughened display to resist minor scratches. Also, the Screen Guard is provided inside the box of the phone. You can double-tap the screen to wake up and even some gestures are supported. You can draw C on the screen to open camera and W to open WhatsApp immediately.

Performance:

The K3 Note from Lenovo has the 1.7 GHz Octa Core processor with MediaTek MT6752 64-bit Chipset. The processor is aided by 2GB of RAM and ARM Mali-T760 GPU. The phone performance really well on the moderate usage but when it comes to multitasking and gaming it lags a little. This is due to the 1080P display as the GPU has to work a lot to push the pixel thus causing lags in the performance of the phone.Even the Lenovo A7000 performed way better than the K3 Note.

Lenovo K3 Note Review- Benchmark Score

Coming to the gaming department the phone performed decent.Small Sized games performed really well without any issue but when it comes to high-end gaming, the phone doesn’t perform good.Even the Lenovo A7000 performed good when compared to the Lenovo K3 Note.So if you are a high-end gamer then this phone is not recommended to you.The benchmark score of Lenovo K3 Note is placed above.

Camera:

The 13MP rear camera has improved a lot as compared to the Lenovo A7000.But it is surely not the one of the great camera in 13MP segment. The dual LED Flash helps to capture a great shots at indoors and low light conditions. The Flash spreads all over the object which makes the image look natural. The camera does a decent job in natural light and the focus in good as well. But when u too quick to capture the image then the image won’t be sharp and clear. Here are the few camera samples of Lenovo K3 Note

Panorama Shot

The 5MP front camera takes the excellent selfie and even the beautification mode does the great job.The rear camera can record 1080p videos as well. The UI of the camera looks simple and comes with a lot of effects and modes.

OS & UI

The Lenovo K3 note Android on the latest version of Android Lollipop 5.0 with the VIBE UI on the top.On the first boot around 10GB of free internal memory is found out of 16GB.The free RAM available at the first boot is 900MB out of 2GB.But after some use you will only get around 500-700MB of free RAM in your device. The Apps and Games can be moved to the external Micro SD Card but not the full data can be moved. The Lenovo K3 Note has the OTG connectivity support as well. Here are the some of the User interfaces of Lenovo K3 Note.

Battery

The Lenovo K3 Note has the 2900 mAh battery and the battery life is average. It lasts only up to 3 to 4 hours on heavy gaming and multitasking. On average usage, it lasts up to 5-6 hours but you can get a full day battery backup. One of the con regarding the charger is the phone takes around 3 hours to charge 100% and it does not have any quick charging feature. The Call quality on the Lenovo K3 Note is decent and again its not as good as Lenovo A7000.Also, the speaker output of the phone is decent and you can Dolby feature only with High-end headphones but not from the speaker given in the phone. Many people are confused about the SAR value of the phone as it has 1.590 W/Kg at  the head, but there is no problem with it.They listed the SAR value for maximum usage including WiFi, 2G, 3G and 4G.

Final verdict

From the Lenovo K3 Note review, it is surely the value for money smartphone but not best in its range. You can opt for K3 Note if you love watching videos in the large beautiful display. Also, the phone is the bad choice for heavy gamers. You can also check out the Some of the FAQ and doubts of Lenovo K3 Note. Some of the pros of the device are the 1080p display, decent camera, Android Lollipop and the cons of the device are not great performance and slow charging.
