We are in the end of the year 2015 and we still only one month to welcome the new year 2016. We have seen lots of Android, windows and Apple smartphones in the year 2015. Now it’s time for us to know some of the upcoming Android phones of 2016. Similar to the year 2015, we could see some new upcoming phones in the year 2016 as well. They would turn in the best Smartphone of 2016 or they would go unnoticed, but we have to wait to see all those happen. We have the list of most expected Android smartphone to be launched in 2016. Though these are just the rumored phone and there is no official confirmation from the company yet. But we are pretty sure that these would be the some of the Flagship Phones for 2016 from the top brands like Samsung, Apple, Sony, Motorola, Xiaomi, and Lenovo. Xiaomi Mi5
The year 2015 is the great year for the company Xiaomi as they had a tremendous growth. The Xiaomi Mi4 is their previous Flagship and they also launched some of budget Smartphones like Xiaomi Mi4i, Redmi 2 Prime. We had lots of rumors about their next Flagship the Xiaomi Mi5. Though we expected the phone would be launched in December 2015, now we expect for the phone to be launched in 2016. Here are the rumored specifications and details of the Xiaomi Mi5.
The Phone would feature the 5.3 inches display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, protected by Corning Gorillas Glass 3. The Xiaomi Mi5 will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Chipset with Quad-core 2.2 GHz CPU and 4GB RAM. They will have 16 and 64GB onboard storage and sadly they won’t have Micro SD Card slot as per the rumor.
The phone will 16MP rear camera with Dual LED Flash and 4K video recording, 6MP front camera with 1080p video recording support. The Xiaomi Mi5 will run on the Android 5.1 Lollipop with MIUI on the top as usual. We also expect for the Fingerprint Scanner on this Smartphone and will pack 3030 mAh Non-removable battery. Xiaomi has arranged for the event on November 24th 2015 and there is no surprise if the phone is launched before 2016.
LG G5
Its been a long time since LG G4 got launched, so we could expect for the LG G5 in 2016. As per the rumors, the LG G5 will ditch the Platic body and wear the new Metal body. It would have a bigger display than its previous model which would be around 5.6 inches or even larger with 4K display. The phone would have the latest processor of Snapdragon 820 and 4GB RAM. It is also said that the LG G5 will have the Iris Scanner and the team is working on it. The LG G5 will have large 4000 mAh battery which is non-user removable while the LG G4 came with 3,000 mAh battery.
Sony Xperia Z6
2015 was not a great year for Sony as their Flagship Smartphone Sony Xperia Z5 didn’t do well. But we could see the Sony Xperia Z6, upcoming Android phones of 2016 with some improved Specifications and features. The Sony Xperia Z6 is expected to be launched in 2016 at IFA Event. They Xperia Z6 would come with 5.5 inches 4K display with the same glossy body as usual. They will have the new Snapdragon 820 Chipset on the board with 3 or 4GB of RAM. The Xperia will also have the Fingerprint scanner which has become the latest trend on the Smartphones.
Since Sony is the great fan of numbers, we could see 30MP camera on the Xperia Z6. We can also expect Sony to use the USB Type-C port on their upcoming Android Smartphone. The Sony Xperia will run on the latest Android Marshmallow 6.0 with their own custom UI on the top. They would also launch the Sony Xperia Z6 Compact version in 2016. HTC One M10
HTC has launched their Flagship HTC One M9 this year and the next Flagship will be launched in 2016. The HTC One M10 will feature the same Metal body and the same design. It would come with 5.5 inches 4K display and a fingerprint scanner on the home button. It would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM. As usual HTC will have 8 Ultra pixels rear camera as they are not the fans of Mega Pixels race. The HTC One M10 will have 4000 mAh battery which is not user removable.
Samsung Galaxy S7
This year Samsung Galaxy S6 was launched as their latest Flagship and it was a huge it. So Samsung Galaxy S7 will be the upcoming Samsung Smartphone for 2016. The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have ‘SM-G930’ and ‘SM-G935’ model number respectively. The phone will have a different design with fingerprint sensor and probably Iris Scanner. Hope this time Samsung will give special care to its battery life as it was the major let down in Samsung Galaxy S6. Lenovo Smart Cast
Lenovo Smart Cast is World’s First Laser Projection Smartphone. Its still in the development stage but it could be launched officially in 2016. The Lenovo Smartcast can convert the empty surface into the touch screen through the laser projection. Xiaomi Redmi 3
We are excited to see the Flagship Android phones of 2016 but we have a great news for budget users as well. Xiaomi is working on the next version of successfull budget Android Smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 2. The successor xiaomi Redmi 3 will sport 5 inch display with metal body.
