Moto X Plus Vs OnePlus 2 Comparison
Display & Design
The Moto X Play features the 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p display and even the competitor carries the similar 5.5inch Full HD 1080p display. The body of Moto X play is well built and it is water repellent to some extent. The back panel of the phone has the texture to it which makes it comfortable to hold. The OnePlus 2 has the metallic frame with finger print scanner which was missed in Moto X. The OP2 does not have the regular USB cable, but it comes with the latest USB Type-C port.
Processor and performance
The Moto X Play is powered by the 1.7GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor aided by 2GB RAM and 550 MHz Adreno 405 GPU. The OnePlus 2 is powered by the 64bit 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 4GB of RAM. The processor is quite higher on OnePlus two when compared to Moto X Play. But the Moto X can handle the games and multi tasking without any issues. But the performance will be very smooth in OnePlus 2 as it has higher RAM.

Camera
The Moto X Play has the 21MP rear camera with LED Flash, but OnePlus 2 has only 13MP primary camera. We believe both the phone will have the tight competition when it comes to the camera. The OnePlus 2 could capture the details of the subject very well though it has only 13MP camera. When it comes to the Camera UI, OP2 wins as the Camera UI of moto X Play is very simple and does not have lots of feature. Both the phones have the 5MP front facing Selfie camera and the both the phone is capable of recording full HD 1080p videos.
OS and other features
The Moto X runs on the Stock Android 5.1.1 out of the box. It does not have any unwanted bloatware Apps and it has lots of features. Some of the features are you can double twist your hand to open Camera App, double chop the phone to ON/OFF the Flash Light. Similarly the competitor OnePlus 2 runs on the Android Lollipop 5.1.1 based on the Oxygen OS. Earlier OnePlus One used the CynogenMod ROM but later they developed their own ROM named Oxygen OS. Some of the other features which were lacking in OnePlus 2 when compared to Moto X Play are NFC and Quick Charging 2.0.
Battery and price
The Moto X Play has the big 3630 mAh battery which was sealed inside the phone. The battery is well enough to last for one whole day on heavy usage and two full days on moderate usage. The OnePlus One has 3300 mAh battery which is also not a user removable one. The speaker is placed on the front on the Moto X Play whereas the drilled speaker is placed at the bottom on OnePlus 2. Coming to the price, the OnePlus 2 is bit expensive when compared to Moto X play. The Moto X Play costs Rs. 18,499 for 16GB model and Rs. 19,999 for 32GB model. The OnePlus is priced at Rupees 25,999 for 64GB version and you need an invite to buy the phone.
Where comparing Moto X Plus Vs OnePlus 2, both the phone has their own positive and negative points. The Moto X Style stands out for its camera, Water repellent feature, Stock Android, higher battery and price. The OnePlus 2 stands out for its Fingerprint scanner feature, metal body and higher performance. If you can spend 25,000 and also get the invite then you can surely opt for the OnePlus 2. But if you don’t have that higher budget and don’t want to wait for long time to get hands on your new phone then you can surely go with the Motorola Moto X play. This is my own opinion of comparing Moto X Plus Vs OnePlus 2.
