OnePlus 3/3T gets OxygenOS 4.1 update based on Android 7.1.1

Good news for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users as they have started receiving the OxygenOs 4.1 update. This update is based out of the latest Android version of Android N 7.1.1. The update does not bring any new features but they are meant to fix some existing bugs. With the update, the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users also get the Android Security Patch for the month of March.

we have seen many of the OnePlus 3 and 3T users complaining about the heating issue and the battery drain issue after the Android N 7.0 update. So with the OxygenOS 4.1 update based on Android N 7.1.1, we hope that the company fixes heating and the battery drain issues. Also with the latest Android N updates, the Google Assistant is enabled for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users.

OnePlus 3 and 3T gets the Android N 7.1.1 update followed by the Google Pixel and some Nexus devices. With the update, OnePlus has made sure about their timing update and how they take care of their customers. Here are the some of the change log of the update as mentioned on their forum.

  • Upgraded Android 7.1.1
  • Updated Google security patch to 1st March 2017
  • Added expanded screenshots
  • Improved picture taking of moving objects with blur reduction
  • Improved video stability when recording
  • Improved WiFi connectivity
  • Improved Bluetooth connectivity
  • General bug fixes

The update has started rolling out and it will be soon available to every OnePlus 3/3T users. Also, make sure you check for updates by going into Settings > About Phone > System Update.
