A few months back Vivo showcased the first Smartphone with an onScreen fingerprint scanner. And today at MWC 2018 they have announced the Vivo Apex which is their concept Smartphone.
The first thing you would notice about the smartphone is the full body display. Vivo made it as the bezel-less smartphone by eliminating the sensors, front camera, and earpiece. So now you would doubt how would you make phone calls without earpiece? Vivo uses the screen sound casting technology which vibrates the display to produce sound.
The Vivo Apex concept Smartphone uses the half part of the display as the fingerprint and since it is in the concept stage you couldn’t expect to work very well. Vivo hides the sensors behind the display to produce a truly bezel-less Smartphone.
Well, that’s not all about the Vivo Apex. Here comes the interesting part. To access the front camera, you need to open the camera Application and switch to the front camera and the camera elevates from the phone itself. Cleaver!
Since the phone is still in the developing stage there is no confirmation on the specification. The phone still packs the speaker, Type- C and headphone jack at the bottom. Still, there is no official confirmation on the Vivo Apex Specification, Price and launch date. But we could expect for it to launch very soon in India and other countries as well.
