Last week WhatsApp rolled out an update to mention people in WhatsApp group and send GIF images. Now, in the recent update, Whatsapp adds a feature called “Invite to group via link”. This feature is available for WhatsApp Beta users and the Non-beta users can download the latest WhatsApp version 2.16.281 here.
How to invite friends to the WhatsApp group
By this feature group admin or any member of the group can share the public link to add members to WhatsApp group. This is the great feature if you are a member of a huge group as you don’t need to add the members on by one. Instead, you can share the group link and the people can join the group by clicking on the link.
First of all, you need to update to latest WhatsApp version or you can download the same from the link mentioned above. Go to any group and tap on the add members option on the top. Now you will get the option ” Invite to group via link”. Once clicking on the option you will get some sharing options and you can use any one of them to share the group link.
Now your friends can click that link and click on the join group option to join the WhatsApp group. If the Admin shares the link then there is no need of approval when somebody joins the group using that link. This latest update also brings new refreshing smileys.
